Right, so for those who couldn’t catch it because of the credits usually being in the way, when the characters appear on screen the background has their names and other related information to each character. Reused from the previous opening, but giving Shin'ichi his usual outfit instead of the white suit. So I guess in honor of the 10th year anniversary the staff decided to callback to opening shots of the very first couple of openings using these familiar motifs. “Hey, so we heard you guys love reused footage, so here’s an opening that consists mostly of it! What? Episode 425? That was just a special opening! Don’t be silly, of course we wouldn’t keep using that.” …EXCEPT FOR THE STUPIDITY OF THAT NEW INVENTION THAT IS ONLY IN THIS OPENING.
